Mix flour, sugar, salt, milk, egg yolks and vanilla in saucepan. Cook until thick! Continue to stir so that it doesn’t stick. This will take approximately 15-20 minutes to thicken.
Layer bananas and cookies in bottom of dish. Pour 1/2 pudding over bananas and cookies. Repeat!
Put cookies on top. I like to crunch them for this step.
You can eat this right away if you like it warm otherwise refrigerate until you are ready to serve.
