I love Summer and getting outside and enjoying the fresh air. This past winter seemed to drag on and on. Did you see that it even snowed again in some areas this past weekend? What! Summer nights can’t come soon enough. This year we are moving during the Summer time so I wanted to prepare myself early and pick up all of my summer beauty products right away. I thought I would share with you my Summer time must haves in the beauty department.
My first must have is sunblock. You can’t do Summer without sunblock, especially if you are like me and burn as soon as the sun touches you. Ok, maybe not that quickly but it sure feels like it.
Protecting your body with sunblock is a must but you also can’t forget the lips. That is why I love wet n wild’s juicy lip balm with spf 15. If you love watermelon then I don’t have to explain to you how amazing this smells.
Just as important as the sunblock is the deodorant. This is a self explanatory one. None of us want stinky arm pits. 😉
You can’t wear fun new sandals and flip flops without some cute nail polish for your toes. I really like this fun pink color by Broadway Nails in Jenny’s Pout.
Another thing I can’t do without in the Summer time is makeup removing wipes. There is nothing worse than being out at the beach or playing outside with your kiddos and needing a fresh face. These facial towelettes will get rid of all that dirt and grime from a long day of fun.
Lastly, my hair gets all kinds of crazy during the hot humid Summer. I love Garnier’s Anti-Humidity argan oil. It works great at keeping the frizz at bay. Plus it smells great as well.
The best thing about these products is that I picked all of them up in a one stop shop at Dollar General and much cheaper than other retail stores. So if you are looking to pick up some Summer essentials for yourself check out what all Dollar General has to over before spending overpriced elsewhere.
