I feel like a bad blogger! I haven’t managed to get a Crafting with kids! post up in nearly a month. I feel like that same sentence has been par for the course the past couple months too. I have several projects in the works for the upcoming weeks so maybe I can stay on track. I will make no promises since it also means we are getting closer and closer to summer break. I am, however, back with a new one today though so I hope you enjoy this cute little paper plate fish to craft with your little ones this week. If you have been looking for a ocean themed activity this is a fun one.
2 Paper Plates
Craft Paint (any color you love)
1 Wiggly Eye
1. Paint 2 paper plates the color of your choosing. My daughter’s favorite color is blue so her fish was definitely going to be blue.
2. Once you have finished painting and allowed it to dry, take one plate and cut out your hand print and a fin.
3. Glue on your hand print fin, back fin and eye.
4. Using a sharpie draw on a cute little mouth. You could also cut out a little triangle for an open mouth look.
That is all there is to create this little fish craft. Super simple and quick which is perfect for little creatives.
