Your home is a direct reflection of your family. A great way to show the world your unique and fun personality is by personalizing it. Today I wanted to share with you 5 easy ways to personalize your home using pictures.
1. Photo Collage!
I know for myself I just don’t have the room to sit framed pictures around everywhere. Plus, my daughter would probably move them around so much it would drive me crazy. A great way to showcase your family photos is with a photo collage display. I did this to hang in my office with pictures of places we have visited as a family. I love this because it saves space but also creates a cool conversation piece about where all the places are located.
What I love about the picture collages from Shutterfly is that they send the hanging setup for you. That makes for easy peasy hanging. All you need to do is level the paper, attach with some push pins and then screw/nail in your hanging materials. Awesome!
2. Photo Books!
Coffee table books are definitely a way to show who you are as a person. Whether you are an art lover, music lover, home decor lover, etc. We can easily learn a thing or two by what lies on your neighbors coffee table. Photo books or albums full of your favorite family photos are also a great item to display on your table. Lets just keep out those baby pictures that are sure to embarrass everyone, or not. Ha!
3. Wall Art!
Another great way I love to personalize my home is with wall art. Some of my favorite being wooden pieces but I also love canvas prints as well. I feel like canvas pops on the wall and really makes a statement. Pick out a favorite family photo and have it printed on canvas. So gorgeous!!
4. Framed Prints!
Although I don’t have tons of room for framed prints I do enjoy having a few here and there. One of the best ways to use framed prints is by using them to bring in pops of color. If you tend to use neutral colors for your furniture and walls then small picture frames are an excellent way to pop in a color that you have been loving, even patterns too. I used these striped frames to bring in more navy. I am loving pops of navy in my living room at the moment.
The last great way to add some personalization to your home is by using photo accessories. Did you know you can put a photo on pretty much everything nowadays? How about a fun throw with your cute families faces all over it? Maybe you need a key chain to carry your loved ones with you whenever you aren’t at home with them. So many options to accessorize your home with photo goodies.
Whatever you may need to personalize your home with photos, Shutterfly is your go to shop. They printed my awesome picture collage and frames. Be sure you pop over and check out all their options. I’m in love! 🙂
